Fast and accurate blood tests, biochemistry, and diagnostic screenings help us make life-saving decisions quickly.

Digital X-Ray

Advanced on-site imaging to quickly diagnose fractures, obstructions, chest concerns, or internal injuries.

Ultrasound

Non-invasive imaging used to assess organs, detect fluid or masses, guide procedures, and monitor pregnancy in pets.

Cone Beam CT Scanner

A cone beam CT scanner provides 3D imaging for detailed views of bones, teeth, and soft tissues—ideal for diagnosing complex dental, nasal, and orthopedic issues.

When to Call an Emergency Vet

Not sure if it’s an emergency? If your pet is acting abnormally, in visible distress or pain, or showing any of the below symptoms, contact us immediately.

Emergency Fees

Emergency veterinary care provides immediate, life-saving treatment at any time, but it can be more costly due to its specialised nature and lack of government subsidies—unlike human healthcare, there’s no Medicare for pets.

We know unexpected vet bills can be stressful, so we offer flexible payment options including credit/debit cards, cash, selected pet insurance claims (via GAPOnly), and third-party finance through VetPay, Afterpay, and Zip. Please note, all services must be paid before discharge, and we do not offer accounts.

Our Commitment to Your Pet’s Safety

At WellPet Vets, we don’t just treat symptoms — we care for the whole pet. From the moment your pet arrives, they are monitored with kindness and expert attention, and we’ll communicate openly with you every step of the way.

When necessary, we also work closely with local specialist hospitals and after-hours emergency centres to ensure your pet receives seamless and continuous care.
