Boarding, Pet Hotel & Grooming

At WellPet Vets, we offer premium boarding and grooming services to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a longer holiday, or a fresh new look with our professional grooming team, your pet is in the best hands with us.

Our Boarding and Pet Hotel facilities are located at our Mountains Animal Hospital branch located at Blaxland.

General Boarding & Cattery

Our general boarding service offers a safe and nurturing environment for cats, dogs, and small pets. During their stay, pets receive daily care including feeding, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of affection from our team. This service is ideal for shorter stays or pets needing comfortable, no-fuss accommodation without the extra luxuries of our Pet Hotel.

All meals provided
High quality food is provided, please note if your pet is on a specific diet, you will need to provide their meals, or prescription diets can be purchased at the time of admission.

Minimum 3 walks per day
Dogs are walked at least three times a day, giving them regular opportunities to stretch their legs, explore the environment, and release energy in a healthy way.

Pet Hotel

For pets who enjoy a touch of luxury, our Pet Hotel offers premium accommodation designed for maximum comfort and minimal stress. Alongside all the benefits of general boarding—such as daily walks, personalised enrichment, and optional grooming—cats and dogs in the Pet Hotel enjoy spacious, destination-themed suites for an extra special stay.

Our Pet Hotel rooms are more spacious than standard boarding runs, making them ideal for comfortably accommodating multiple smaller dogs from the same household, or allowing a single pet more space to stretch their legs.

Grooming

At WellPet Vets, we offer grooming services focused on your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. Our veterinary nurses are trained in safe and gentle grooming practices and can provide essential services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and comfort clips.

While we are not professional groomers and do not offer show-quality clips, we provide a grooming option ideal for owners who prioritise their pet’s comfort over cosmetic grooming. Our pricing reflects this practical, welfare-focused approach.

Grooming services are available at multiple WellPet locations:

  • At St Clair Animal Hospital, we offer the full suite of comfort grooming services for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
  • At Mountains Animal Hospital, we provide sedated grooming for pets who are anxious, medically fragile, or unable to tolerate routine grooming procedures. Sedated grooms are performed under veterinary supervision for your pet’s safety.

All grooming is performed using gentle handling techniques, with your pet’s emotional and physical wellbeing our top priority. Grooming can also be conveniently added to your pet’s boarding or hotel stay.
