Cat Adoption Program

At WellPet, we’re proud to support cats in need of a second chance. Our Cat Adoption Program provides a safe and caring environment for cats while they await their forever homes. Each cat is health-checked, vaccinated, desexed, and behaviourally assessed by our experienced team. We’re also thrilled to share that WellPet Vets is now an approved rehoming centre—so all cats and kittens adopted through us come with lifetime registration included. Whether you’re looking for a playful kitten or a calm companion, we’ll help you find the perfect match. By adopting through WellPet, you’re not only giving a cat a new start—you’re gaining a lifelong friend.

Program Overview

Intake

We accept cats and kittens—ranging from neonates to adults—depending on available space in our program. Each cat is assessed to ensure we can provide the right level of care.

Quarantine & Vet Care

New arrivals spend time in quarantine to ensure they’re healthy and safe to integrate into care. During this time, they receive:

A full health check
Vaccinations
Worm and flea treatment
Microchipping
Desexing (if old enough)

Foster Care

If additional support or socialisation is needed, some cats or kittens are placed in loving foster homes until they’re ready for adoption.

Adoption Ready

Once they are cleared from quarantine, and have received all of their vet care, they are then advertised as available for adoption on our WellPet Cat Adoptions Instagram page, and also Pet Rescue.
